About the Connecting Artists Programme:

Connecting Artists is a 10 week online programme designed specifically for visual artists with intellectual disabilities. The programme provides them with a platform to develop their creative practice, and to showcase their talents and professional achievements. We have carefully selected 10 extraordinary artists from across the country to participate in the 2024 programme; our 3rd annual programme.

Thanks to the wonderful mentors who volunteered their time to support each artist, Connections Arts Centre has been able to develop this programme and provide a platform to highlight the exceptional talents of these 10 artists.

The programme's culmination takes place in the beautiful venue of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, made possible through collaboration with its Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Unit. The 5 day exhibition promises to be a memorable display of artistic expression.
