My name is Rachel Coen. I’m from Palmerstown in Dublin. I have enjoyed art for many years and feel it is very relaxing. I’m delighted to be an artist on the Connecting Artists programme.

The inspiration for my paintings comes from nature and I like to paint vibrant paintings using strong colours. I would describe my style as modern and vibrant. My favourite medium to paint with is acrylics but through the Connecting Artists programme, I’m getting a new love for watercolours also.

I have had the opportunity to exhibit my work in a number of the Incognito art exhibitions and I’m excited to exhibit my latest artwork alongside the other talented artists in the programme at the Connecting Artists Exhibition in the RCSI.
