Hi there, I'm Michael Hade, an artist from Rathfarnham.

I have enjoyed art for as long as I can remember and have won art competitions in the past. I find inspiration in everyday things like shapes, outdoor scenes, and paintings that make people happy to look at.

I love drawing shapes and lines and using bright colours, red is my favourite. When I go for walks, I always take my phone with me because I like taking pictures of interesting moments I see.

My art is all about showing people the magic in everyday life. I use different art materials like oil pastels, watercolours, and chalks. My style is unique and from the heart; some people see mixes of Post-Impressionism and a bit of fun Pop Art in my creations.

I am really proud to be part of the Connecting Artists 2024 program. I am so excited to be exhibiting my art at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. I hope my art can inspire others and make them happy.
