Amy Begley is 27 years old, and lives in Newmarket, County Cork. She studied Animation & Illustration at St. John’s Central College Cork City and attended Doras Training Centre at Cope Foundation.

Amy’s niche is creating original artwork using traditional methods of paint on canvas and then transforms them into digital pieces.

Amy has created & illustrated several children’s books using watercolour & pencil techniques, and digitalises her illustrations while keeping her work organic. You can view and purchase these books written by Marion Heffernan on Amazon UK.  

Amy is kept busy with her role as an Art Assistant with Suisha Arts where she has the opportunity to work on her own art portfolio and participate in Arts Projects. As part of her role there, Amy has travelled across Europe as an advocate for people with disabilities through the arts, and continues to do so.
